Default flashing 3rd brake light

has anyone tried to wire a flasher into their 3rd brake light to make it flash when you put on the brakes? the reason i ask this is a guy down the street just bout a used 04 that does this.looks
like someone had spliced a flasher in the wiring looks cool when he steps on his brakes

i havent dont it but i have on motorcycels. that is not to tuff. For the most par you cut the wire and add a spade connector on both sides, Then just plug them in . But the trick is to find the 2 prong flashers and get the hevy duty ones to do this with.

Also if you are going to do ti they have tons of diffrent sized flashers for cars and some are small and others are not so small.
But make sre they are 12volt. or go to the local bone yard and get one out of a car there. (most forgein have smaller ones)

you could o it with one of the flashers that have three prongs on them
sme are made to have runing lights in them also so that they wont inntrupt that circut.
so one is hot all time
one is ground
one is inttermiting (switch triggerd)

the other option is use the 2 pole flasher again and iclate the
wires for just the third light and not all of the system.

should not be to hard those lights only come on when the brake is pushed so your not having to power it at all times so it only has to flash after the power is put to it.

you might have to play with difrent flashers to get one that flashes slow enough for you other wise you will have a disco light LOL
