Factory Lock & Horn Honk

Factory Lock & Horn Honk
I've had my monte for a little over a year, when I press my lock button on my FoB, it locks, when I press my unlock button, it unlocks. I'm happy.
About a month ago, I added a new battery terminal that was large enough to add my amplifiers power wire to the terminal. Somehow in the barrage of horrible weather and disgusting road conditions...and my lack of a lock washer, my battery terminal came loose. It took me about 3 days to finally figure out that my + terminal was the root of my problems and I corrected it.
The day before I tightened up my terminal and added a lock washer, my horn started honking when I press my lock button. Every time I use my FoB to lock my doors, my horn honks once....
How do I turn off the factory lock horn honk? It's annoying. lol

RE: Factory Lock & Horn Honk
start your car, turn the radio off
hold the tune button in for 10 seconds (I can't think of the ***** name!!!) and then your settings will pop up, like when you have to reset your oil life/tire pressure sensor.
scroll through the options and you will find the settings for the FOB and you can turn off the honk.

I think unless you have the radio installed, just for these situations (like in a trunk or something) you are out of luck.
I believe the only things you can reset without the factory radio are the Oil and TPMS.
