Engine Squeel, PCV problem?

Engine Squeel, PCV problem?
I have a big problem with my Monte. I put a new PCV Valve in, and now I have a bad squeel coming from the intake area or crankcase. If I pull out the dipstick for the oil, it stops. Help is greatly appreciated. I think it's the sensor for the PCV Valve.....but unsure. The car has 100,000 miles.
Thanks!

RE: Engine Squeel, PCV problem?
Hello brvancamp,
It sounds like your new PVC valve is either stuck or installed incorrectly. You should be able to freely blow through the PVC valve in the opposite direction of which it is installed onto the valve cover. In other words, air should be able to freely pass from the valve cover grommet through the PVC tube. What year is your monte?

RE: Engine Squeel, PCV problem?
My Monte is a 2000 SS. I put a second PCV valve in and it still makes the noise. I just can't figure it out. If I pull the dipstick out it stops. I guess I'll have to take it to the dealership. Any ideas? Bad PCV valve sensor?
Thanks!
Thanks!
