That’s something, I see what you mean. That’s most likely how mine broke too. I’ll be keeping and eye open for whenever you decide to put something together for console fix.

On my spare parts Monte, the previous owner rigged up a hinge assembly for it with metal brackets. I sure did ****** it out and put it in my LS.

Clean 3800 you have there, that Plog is pretty.

I have no clue how the previous owner made it, but the middle bar has two nuts and one piece in the middle that can be loosened/tightened to shrink or extend the middle piece. It doesn't look that pretty but I have not had the first problem with it.
