I just bought a 2003 Monte Carlo ss. Having some electrical issues. Drove it home and the relay started clicking and the interior lights were flashing. After turning the car off for a few hours I started it up and it wasn’t doing that anymore. Today while driving I pressed the fast forward on the tape deck and the clicking started again and when I put the car in park the headlights and dash lights kept blinking. The lock buttons don’t always work and the heated seats work off and on. Could the Body Control module need to be replaced?

 

Id pull out the electrical diagrams and a multimeter to test to verify. I agree the bcm sounds like the common theme for some of the issues, but I wouldnt think the headlights or the tape deck forward button would run through the bcm at all (could certainly be wrong, I've not looked at the diagrams for a 6th gen before).
