Driving lights
I have a 2000 Monte Carlo SS and it has driving lights (lights that come on during the day).
If I leave the light switch in the off position, driving lights are on during the day and the headlights automatically come on during the night. I just took the car in to the dealer because the ABS and trac system lights came on. The dealer checked the electrical and changed the ECM module(or some module for the ABS/trac system).
I am stating that the driving lights are not coming on, it is my headlights thatare coming on... Obviously, the dealer is telling me that they are working properly.
My question iswhat should come on forthe driving lights (switch in the off position)?
I state that the following should occur:
1) headlights come on
2) parking lights should not come on (they do)
3) taillightsshould not come on (they do)
Can someone pleaseconfirm or disagree with me so I keep quiet or go back to the dealer and tell them to fix it right?
Thanks.
