driver power seat wont go up and down

Default driver power seat wont go up and down
driver power seat wont go up and down it moves back and forth fine but when I move the switch up or down nothing happens! and ideas on what could be wrong?

2002 monte ss coupe

there could be a problem with that switch, or maybe a problem with the motor
