dose a 1998 MC have a factory car alarm on it
i want to buy a new remote
when i looked up my remote, they show a 4 button remote the 4th being a alarm
if not plz let me know
oh plz tell me what kind of cal alarm i should get

my 99 didnt come with an alarm.....

I have the latest and greatest from code alarm..... (from 1999)...still works great 12 yrs later!


Might want to try Cartoons...or possibly mickey shores for a replacement.. or just have an alarm system instahled....problem solved


or just go to a dealer and see if they have the proper 1...ur choice....

 

Try rolling down window, lock the car with the remote, reach in through the window unlock the door and open. If the horn goes off you have a content alarm if not you don't.

I used to leave the windows on my truck rolled down most of the way @ work, someone thought they would be smart and try to get into my truck by reaching in and unlocking the door, they set off the alarm. Before they could close the door again I was standing next to them. :-P

Hey Space, it was a co-worker and he was trying to let me know how unsafe it was to do what I did, little did he know how unsafe it was to do what HE did. I worked on the loading dock and parked right outside the door so I heard the horn and made a sprint outside before he knew what happened.

Sort of want to know where that dog was going! Run out of Milk-Bones?!?!
