Door and truck locks blowing fuses

Door and truck locks blowing fuses
So, I have had this problem for a little while now. Go to shift from park to drive and door locks blow the fuse randomly. I change the fuse and they are good for awhile then it happens again. Even my trunk lock would blow the fuse sometimes. Very annoying. Then suddenly, I had a very strange thing happening. If I popped the truck and opened my door, the chime would go off like I left the keys in the ignition, and I would get they SERVICE VEHICLE SOON warning on the dash. If I started the car, then turned it off, the warning would go away.
I figured a bad ground somewhere or my BCM was going bad. So I checked all the grounds and they seemed good, and I had no other electrical issues. So I pulled out the BCM, opened it up and checked the board. Didn't see any burned components or bad connections though. Was thinking I had to buy a new one and go to the dealer for programming.
But, I decided just to resolder all the pins going into the board from the plug connections. It took a few minutes and had to be careful, but I finished, put it back in and no more blown fuses yet over the last 2 days. And the strange alarm is now gone too.
I'm hoping this is a lasting fix. Time will tell I guess.
