i have a quick question: where is the annoying little chime that lets you know if you have the key in the ignition, or the key on, or the headlights on located? i wanna rig a toggle swich into it so i can turn it off if i wanna listen to the radio with the drivers side door open, but i dont wanna disable it compleatly.

its on my '97 LS, stock CD player, and it has a console.

Wire the switch in your door jamb so as that your car always thinks the doors closed.

 

idk where the hell the door jam swich is though, lol.

 

well, i found the chime, its under the glove box. it looks like it unplugs, but im not gonna mess with it. too cold out, lol.
