Sold one to a customer and they called and said the SS has a fan that wasnt working...he took it to a shop and they said it wasnt working and wanted $400 to change it out installed..including the fan...

half or more is labor....

Is it that hard to change one out? I am fairly mechanical and do miost of the work on my cars..the Monte is not here right now so I cant look at it and see if I can do it or not...


So I need to know how hard it is to replace so we know wether or not to spend the full amount and have it dont or try to save the cost of labor..

we didnt make that much on the car to begin with and cant really afford to spend $400 to fix it...

We had the car less than 12hrs on the lot so we had no idea it had an issue

 

From wha ti have seen of that Fan they shoudl not be to hard to get to.

Are you talking the heater fan? or the Rad. fan?

both are not to difficult from what i have sene the one is located right inder the glove box behind the pannel there int he foot well.

the other is on the RAd. and i belive is pretty much held in place with some screws on the top under the headder pannel witch is plastic and held on wiht those damed plastic rivets. that you pop the center out and then pull it off.

i have a nother one ya can sell in 12 hours or less LOL
