7th Gen ('06-'07): DIC messages: Service brake system, brake assist and traction control
OK, here goes....
Yesterday I was driving to work after about 10 minutes and my DIC, (driver information center) alerted me of the following in order........
1 Service brake system
2 Service brake assist
3 Service traction control
It has been pretty cold the last few weeks @ 30* and below sometimes in the negatives. I'm not sure if it could be related to this though? This all happened at about 8 am, I went out during lunch to see if the messages came back and they did. After work during start-up it also displayed the same, after about 20 minutes the marker lights (traction control and brake lights) went out on the dash. I figured it was just a coincidence, then it all happened again the next morning. I didn't bother checking it during lunch this time though. When I left after work all the same messages came up on the DIC and after about 20 minutes of driving again all the maker lights went out. I'm wondering if this is just weather related (cold) or I should take this to a shop to get this looked at? Any suggestion or comments welcome, I'll follow-up with more on this the next couple/few days as to what is happening.

The best thing to do is scan the PCM for trouble codes and history data. It could just be that one of the wheel sensors is malfunctioning because of the cold, but it could also be low brake fluid, a bad wheel sensor, brake booster or a malfunction in the EBCM itself just to name a few of the potential problems.

Thanks Mike for the suggestions, a friend at work said there would be no codes for this? I'll check them tomorrow
Same results today this morning, all messages came back on..... But in the afternoon it was a different story. No messages and the outside temps were 30*+.....
Thanks for moving this into a more suitable section.......
Mine will do this occasionally. I have been told on other forums (ls1tech) with all the LS4 guys that it is likely the sensor on the hub. I have been told to clean the connectors first then if needed replace.
