Default The DexCool is gone! Yay!!!

This past weekend my fiance flushed my radiator and got that nasty DexCool out! The coolant bottle is a lot cleaner now and it runs great! I hope we did it in time before that nasty stuff ate away at my gasket.

So all you have to do is flush out the coolant and replace with the green stuff? That's it?

I have an '04.
I called Chevy and spoke at length with a Customer Service Rep about the issue of DexCool in my Monte.
Chevy said for me to leave it in and issues me a Case Number if I had any trouble with it.

My biggest complaint is the Design of the Overflow Bottle.
It overflows into a little "Goose-necked" section that likes to become Air Bound.
I have to undo the fasteners holding the Overflow Bottle down and lift-out the Overflow Bottle; hold the Fluid in it with several folded-over paper towels and work the Air Bubble out of the Goose-necked section and make sure that any air bleeds out of there before putting it back in.

No, definately can't mix them. They don't recommend changing it out, and I wouldn't do so if your car is still under warranty cause you'll void it out.
