Dale Jr. Monte... no heat, no air, no NOTHING...
I'm having issues with my 02 Dale Jr. For the better part of the last month, the heat/air/blower has been inconsistant. It would work one day, and then it wouldn't the next. There's no heat, no air... the fan doesn't turn on at all. The heated seats DO work, but in the cold Minnesota winter months ahead, it helps to have heat in a car. It used to do this a while back, but as the car warmed up, it would work... Is it a cooling system issue or just something electrical? I don't see any leaks in anything... water pump or piping... but I don't know IF it was electrial, ie; wiring, fuse... where to check.
Do I take it and have it looked at, or does anyone have any troubleshooting ideas? I saw this on a recent post, but it was a '97 Monte... my issue is a bit different, my system wont turn on at all, I got nothing blowing at all...
Thank you!

sounds to me like electrical. start by checking your fuses regarding your HVAC system and whatnot. do your HVAC lights light up at all? do you get any fan speed?
also you can try moving your temp from hot to cold, then listen to see if you can hear the blend doors moving. you're going to have to have it perfectly quite in the car to hear that.
more than likely it's a fuse, but if not, you may have to take it in. it may be something to do with the control unit itself.

Checked all the fuses... I think it's most likely the blower motor itself, or a short somewhere... I find out that it was going in and out the other day, whenever you would hit a bump, it would go out... that definetly sounds like a short, but I can hear a sligt "wrrrr" when changing from defrost to vent... I checked all the fuses, and they're fine... I'm just going to bring it in, and have the unit looked at.
Thanks for the help!
