I have a 2004 Monte Carlo SS and I need a new passanger side CV axle. The issue I'm having is I purchased the correct axle for the car but it didn't fit, my mechanic said it was 2 inches to short. My engine is the 3.8v6 but I'm wondering if someone swapped the transmission out I'm not car savy at all I am a YouTube simple mechanic so any help would greatly be appreciated.
