Default Cruise don’t work

Bought the car, guy replaced the multifunction switch and after that the cruise don’t work. Worked before he did this. Iv looked and there’s a 2 wire plug That is on the switch side that isn’t hooked to anything on the car side, from what I can see there’s nowhere to plug it in. Green light on the steering wheel comes on but cruise on the dash don’t and it don’t set.

Currently dealing with same issue, is your traction control and ABS functioning? I believe I remember way back on my first 01 SS that it wont work with those not functioning.

Abs light has always been on and cruise worked with it on before. Could still be a problem with the abs won’t know for sure until I fix the wheel speed sensor.

TC and ABS issue may be a bad sensor in the wheel hub. Sometimes you can get away with just cleaning the connections.

I removed my cruise control after finding out the inside of the line was rusted. Ended up going over 100 down the highway because the line got caught on all that rust and wouldnt retract/close the throttle plate.
