Ive been having a weird crackling sound in my d/s door,whether or not my radio is on. I'm hoping is just a loose speaker wire and could be dealt with. But any suggestions on what else it could be? Just asking because I want to know if its something I can do myself.

Are you sure its from the speaker? What you can do is take the door panel off and try to duplicate the problem.

 

Im hoping that is what it is..but I could be wrong.I just don't want to take it to the shop and be charged a arm and a leg..

 

this is gonna sound weird, but your speaker may have power going to it even with the radio off. a frayed or loose power wire for the speaker may be bumping up against something that has a charge that is causing the crackling sound.
