Correcting speedometer

yea it goes back to zero fine it sets right on the peg. guess ill try and find the numbers on the tranny and rearend so i can see what eactly i have.

so its not 6 on the drive gear? so how many is it?
i think from the speeds you gave a 13 driven gear would make it read a bit high, or a 14 driven it'd read a bit low.
unfortunately i dont think they make driven gears smaller than 17... atleast not on that site i listed before. so i'm guessin youre going to have to end up changing the drive gear.

no i counted it wrong lol i just counted straight across so it kinda looked like 6 teeth but it is yellow if that helps. just need to figure out what i need, such a pain in the butt

your right it is a pain in the Azz this is why i dont like to play with them any more LOL

but once ya figure it out they are not to bad.
there is a book for this also . but i cant for the life remeber the name of it but i knwo they have a cross reffernce for the gears in a tranny shop.
i know mine was of and we had to go threw like 4 of those lil pos things before we got it to messure right .

assuming your drive gear is a 6 tooth, and from the numbers on speed you posted earlier, i think an 8 tooth drive sprocket would get you very close.
