Help where is the coolant temperature sensor located?

Its a 2001 with the 3.8.

if it is the 3800 just take off the plastic cover and look to the right and it is right below the thermostat it is very hard to see u gotta feel around for it almost

hey good luck with it I had to replace it and the t-stat in the summer and my service light still goes off when it gets cold outside
