cool...ya don't need to replace the PCM unless you have too...i would hate for you to waste all that $$$ when you may not have too...pcms don't fail that often, but of course they do...that's why it is so important to find anything that may have failed other than the PCM...or something that has caused the PCM to fail

 

Sounds like a MAF or crank sensor/ICM issue to me TBH.
