Makes complete sense when you think about it. I realize that the car will re-learn what you've added even if you don't disconnect the battery but as I said if you stop and think about it, in my case just how long would it take for the computer to "forget 6 years an 80,000+ miles of previous learning. I did disconnect my battery the other day when I got home, haven/t really gone anywhere yet to see if it feels any different or gets any better mileage... time will tell
