Default climate Control

Does anyone now if it would be possible to put the climate controls from an 06 07 monte carlo into a 05 monte, the newer ones look sleeker.

Will the controls for the 04-05 fit in the 00-03? The only difference is the **** with how much air to blow out and some other small things. Instead of 5 settings it had like 15. I have been wanting to buy a new one but thought it might not fit.

I guess I will be the pig on this one. I will order today and let everyone know. I just figured it would be cool to have more settings lol. IF it doesn't work I guess I will have one to sell on here lol.

I'll order one too at the end of the week, the lights are out in mine anyway so I'll make it work, I have access to mitchell ondemand 5 for the wiring diagrams anyway so the wiring may not be that hard

This is what I got back from Morad:

They are different. The 00-03 style use both electronic and vaccum to control and the 04+ use all electronic. I'm not sure if you can swap them over without completely changing out the entire air box.
