clicking when i slowly brake
When i slowly hit the brakes to slow down there is a clicking action that i can feel through brake pedal and the steering column. Is this a brake problem or am i looking at the ISS? I just replaced the ISS less than two months ago so im hoping its not that again. Any thoughts???

RE: clicking when i slowly brake
if you are gettign achatter threw the peddel and the coloum or wheel i would look seriously at the rotors and make sure they are not warped on teh car.
Now if you felt it in the seat i would be lookign at the rear brakes. but i change all mine in pairs all at the same time nakes life easier

also i would check to have the rotors surfaced they might be warped. montes seem to have a real issue with this on the first set at least.
But if you are under warrenty and the pads dont look to wore down i would be talking with them about it to make sure the front end is not some how messed up

RE: clicking when i slowly brake
heres the thing i took my car in a month or so ago and they inspected my brakes and told me the back brakes needed replacement and the front ones were ok...i wasvery iffy on the information but allowed them to go ahead and change them. I was driving today and the brakes felt fine, no clicking at all. I'm thinking when i really brake alot it causes the clicking. I'm going to make an apt at another dealership to see what they say about the problem. I'm just hoping its a easy change of the front brakes and not a huge problem with the front end since its no longer under warranty
