Default Clicking from left front wheel

I have a clicking coming from my left front wheel, but I don't think its a cv boot or anything like that.
Its a constant click that starts when you start moving and gets faster the faster you go. But it doesn't matter if you turn the wheel or hit the breaks. Not sure about going in reverse, just thought about that.
And some times when you hit a bump the click changes a little.
Any thoughts? Sounds like there maybe a similar noise coming from the right front but its hard to tell.
Does gravel have a habit of getting into the covers over the lug nuts?

Thanks

mel

Mel...
Welcome to the forum...

Heres 1 possibility....

Check the treads for stones/rocks stuck in them....

Thus a "clicking" sound can/has occurred....
could also mean bad hub bearings....

and or...If say you had Mag wheels....(alloy)
You could have a case of loose lug nuts!

Well I found the click on the left side. Its the center cap!
It fits real loose in the wheel and when the wheel spins, the cap bangs around. Popped the cap off, no more clicky.

Now to order a replacement center.
