Default cigarette lighter

my cigarette lighters (2 of them) have both stopped working completely recently. Any ideas on why or how i can fix it without blowing a lot of money?

haha, i appreciate it man. I don't even smoke it just sucks cause i can't use it charge my phone or listen to the ipod... tough times dude. take it easy.

my front one has quit working completly & i changed it with the one outta my truck that still works & still had nothing so id like to also know how to fix it running without a radar detector for me sucks

Arent they usually fused? That'd be the first thing i would look at.

my prob isnt a fuse idk whats wrong with it, just dosnt work

Try taking it apart and cleaning all of the contacts. I did this to the cigarette lighter in my 98 K3500 which didn't work. Took it apart and cleaned everything and now it works great.

well i changed mine out whit the one in my truck that was the same & did work so idk whats up
