I purchased an automatic battery charger and an OBDII scanner this morning. I'm currently charging the battery, which was low. But I wanted to know if it is okay to have the electronics on (not the engine) while the battery is charging, so that I can check the codes with the scanner. The manual for the charger didn't say I had to disconnect the battery terminals, nor did it say anything about using the electronics.
