if you are under warranty, take your car to the dealer! or to another dealer until you dont have the problem. use up that warranty

My brother-in-law says that the worse case scenario is it could be the head gasket....could it be anything else???

Hmmmm....I would just keep taking it back to the dealer until they fix the problem while its under warranty. Explain to them whats been done already, so they don't keep doing the samething. Get the service manager involved too...and if one dealer just can't fix it, take it to another dealer and explain your situation.

It could also be the #6 injector. Take it to a dealer so he can watch the individual fuel trims on his scanner.

Thumbs up

Well...it turns out that it was a bad Cylinder #6 injector!!...I guess it was firing less than the other five and was causing the misfire!! They also found a recall on the steering hose??? and fixed that too!!! So far it seems like everything is A-o.k.!!!!! Too bad I had to sit at the dealership from 8am-3pm to get it done right!!!!...thanks for all the input guys!! My brothers in Monte Carlo Mayhem!!!!!!!

Well I'm glad it all got fixed up for you...

Doesnt your dealer offer shuttle service? That sucks you had to literally wait for it.
