Actually, I wish that was my car, but it's not. It's just my Avatar. Pulled it off Google images. Pretty cool though huh. I think the lime green is a wrap over the original dark green. Mine is a bone stock green '00 SS, just looks like it from the back. lol. Pics of mine are in my photo album.

A real man talking, take the ego hit and be done with it and moving on. Sometimes it's better to just pay someone who does a job you don't and you can be at work still making money. Not home cussing, getting frustrated chuckin wrenches across the garage. Well that's the lesson I learned anyway...

I agree that the metal heat shields on the plug wires add a challenge. I found since I'm always replacing plug wires anyways, grab that part of the boot sticking out from the heat shield with a pair of vice grips and twist (if you damage the wire or the boot, doesn't matter, you are replacing it anyways). Works great. Make sure to use a dab of die-electric grease when re-installing the new wires to help prevent them from having that "death grip" in the future.

I've never had to "pull the engine" forward on these cars. Heck, for the 3100/3400 owners, I really don't understand why they have to move the engine, there is a ton of room on the back (especially compared to the Grand Am/N-Body that also has the 3100 and 3400). I can probably change all the plugs on a 3100/3400 in about 30 minutes.

I am also a little concerned when people pull the engine forward, is it having any effect on the lower engine and transmission mount (I don't know how far those can be moved before they are over extended).
