what are the "carb acc pump sol" & "carb acc pump sol temp sw", i am chasing a pink wire with a black trace (#39), from the engine bay, according the wiring diagram they go to the gauges. im also not sure what NM5 is, or if my car has it?

didi these cars have modular wiring or was it only specific to what options it had, would i have extra un used plugs in the engine bay?
like the first picture it shows Oil press & oil press sw, i know the line is dashed for the sw, but i have a un used connector in the same area as the Oil press conector ?

As for the wiring the factory would use the same harness for the same engine regardless of the options (cruise, air or gauge options) they would obviously have a different harness for a chevy 229, buick 231 , chev 5.0 hope I helped a little.

What year is your Monte? It sounds like whoever had it before you removed all of the CCC and smog parts. They added a standard Quadra jet and distributor probably. I have a 1987 El Camino with the CCC carb. The acc sol is the accelerator pump solenoid, so those wires are not needed for a non ccc carb.
