Theft detterent flashed on dash couldnt start waited awhile tried again worked last night all lights radio and horn function turn key no sound car wouldnt start waited bout and hour went back yo turn key lights real dim on outside and inside turned key all dash lights start blinking speedomter radio ac lights all blink together then finally no power again no sound when key is turned HELP!!!!!!!

 

Sounds like a bad battery, or a faulty altenator.

 

My car had some of these same problems when I got. My problem was the ignition key lock cylinder.Might not be yours but it's worth looking at. You can get one off Ebay for 35.00. The parts house around here wanted 150.00! Crazy price difference.

 

Awsome well I took the battery to get tested and it aouldnt even hold a charge it said bad battery as soon as it got hooked up bought a new battery and post will see what happens when I get off work

 

I hope a new battery does the trick..as that was also going to be my first suggestion as well.

I will be looking forward to your response and hear that was the problem.

 

Sorry to disappoint guys new battery still want start tool panel under steering column off to check for kill switch couldnt find it or didnt kno it was it tried turning key on for 10 min and repeated it twice still no sound when I turn back key and too top it off when I walked away the "alarm" sounded off twice like beep beep as if it was mocking me any more suggestions are greatly appreciated

 

These cars didnt have factory alarm, so it would b aftermarket...mebbe start there?

 

What Brand is the after market alarm?
Do you have the key fob for it?

Either the box for the alarm (Under the dash) or the antenna (mounted on the windshield) May have a button on it that you can by pass the kill switch
process by holding that button while turning the key.

Is the door shut, when you turn the key to start it?...
If not, try shutting the door then turn the key...

 

Never had remote for alarm cant find kill swtich or dont reconize it
