It sounds like it has an air pocket within the system....
I would try bleeding off the air.... If i'm not mistaken for your model..on top of the thermostat houseing there should be a bleeder valve/screw...
These vehicles/motors are kinda fussy when it comes to getting the air out....
I would first try bleeding the air out of the system and see if that should resolve your problem.
