My A/C turns itself off and on. Like I literally can see the light for the AC going on and off as the fan switches from recirculate to fresh air at the same time. This usually happens soon after starting or if I'm idling for more than a few minutes. The air blows cool when it's on. It turns on quickly after shutting off and will go back and forth up to 6 or 7 times before settling. I tried to search the forums but the search function won't let me include key words like "a/c" or "air" or "off and on" because "they are either too short or too common" so I apologize if this has been posted before. 07 SS. Try getting a pressure check on the system. Some cars have sensors that monitor the pressure and if a leak is detected they will turn off the system. Not sure if the 07 has this sensor but quite a few of the imports do. Best of luck.

 

I think it is pressure related as well. I once accidentally overcharged my system and had a similar issue. I also have an 07 ss
