02 Monte 3.8 when turning the turn signals all I get is a buzzing noise. Replaced the hazard lights relay THREE TIMES and it still buzzes when turning the turn signal. Any clue as to why? Hazard lights work.

 

Could be the turn signal switch or the hazard switch.

 

Already replaced the multifunction switch twice and the hazard lights relay three times - neither or those are the problem. I'm leaning towards a bad ground and plan to trace that today.

 

Chasing wires. Found the radio has a short and a junction box was sliced into to run a amp. Still trying to find the cause of the buzzing in the hazard relay.

 

Well, after messing around with the car for the last couple years, taking the carpet out and seats, chasing every wire to where it's suppose to go and attaching the ones that for some reason weren't attached, I found the issue with no turn signal and it lays within the multifunction switch connector....bad attachment....causes faulty instrument cluster and lack of turn signals. Now I have to find out precisely what part of the connector is not working and resolve the issue. I jiggled the wire harness of the multifunction switch and the turn signals started working. They flash fast so that's telling me there's a ground issue (especially since I now know something is wrong with the connection) and hope to find that and resolve it.
