Need some more information then that. Does it only burn when you accelerate? Is is slight but constant? Maybe a dense fog that chokes other motorists? Is there coolant in your oil or vice versa?

It could also be a number of things, maybe your O-rings are burned out, in which case you are pretty much screwed.

Like DerEin said, it could be a number of things. In my old '96 LS, however, I had the problem of coolant leaking into the oil...

well it has the burning oil smell that chokes everyone behind me and it seems to burn oil if its just running i was told it could be a bad vaccume in the crank case so i need to change the pvc valve and i have never done one and im not excatley sure where to find it. there is no oil in thew coolent in the oil or vise vresa but it is frustrating and i had autozone run a dos test on it and it said the car wasnt moving even though i drove it out of the paking lot lol any other ideas guys or can you help me locate the pvc

I am not 100% on the 3400 but on the 3800 the PCV valve is simply just unplug, twist and it pops out and you replace. Piece of cake maybe 5 minute job.

If you are burning the oil through your exhaust then you have a problem where the leak is going into the engine.

If you smell it because it is burning off your exhaust manifolds, your valve cover gaskets could be shot.
