Brake squeal
Hello-
I am getting a loud brake squeal from my left side wheels (still not sure if it is front or rear wheel). Anyway, I have checked all 4 wheels and I have plenty of pads (4-wheel Disc). I checked the brake shield and nothing is stuck in there or rubbing. My rotors look fine. I can't figure out what is making the squeal. It is really bad when I apply the brakes, and I can also hear it faintly when I am NOT applying the brakes. I do not see how it can be the sensor because I have had sensors go off before and they are not as loud as I am getting from this squeal. Does anyone have any suggestions or experience with this?

Need to find exactly which wheel first. That'll help narrow it down a lot more for diagnosis. Have someone else drive it slowly while you walk alongside.
After that, jack it up and spin that wheel to help narrow it further. If it's making noise even without the brakes applied, you should be able to hear a little something spinning the wheel by hand to help get you much closer to the problem.
