gmr diffs sell for 1500 used all day long. i bought mine new for 1800.
if this diff is coming out of a track only car it might not have the bronze washer upgrade done on the planitaries and that will need to be done for street use or the diff will be trashed.

Funny you say that cuz he mentioned the same thing to me when I called him earlier today. He said he has the bronze washer and everything I needed for street use. Gonna take his dif to my trans guy to verify its a gmpp LSD and not just a clutch pack! Also he accepted my offer of $750 lol so I'm greatful for that.
I got my self a gmpp LSD for 750.
Also turbo monte or zippy, which fluid should I run after the break in period and should I run the stock HD converter or Opp for something better while the trans is still out of the car?

That's the best deal I have heard of in a long time, he did not know how rare these are, totally out of production by anyone. Probably only a handful left uninstalled in the whole US. Can you say SNAG!!! Somebody made out in a big way!!Use a Dexron VI fluid. Turbo may have some converter insight for you.

Ok cool ill wait for him on that then. But the guy was in desperate need for the money, he knows exactly what's it worth but no one was intersted. Said too many people called dips on it but not a single soul can spit out the dough

Yea I got plans for it, motor is in very good condition but if it does blow ill be buy a used l67 and build it myself, I can build engines no problems given enough time, I'm clueless when it comes to automatic transmissions however so that's y I decided to get it built now and get that out of the way.

Also I use Castrol dex merc I don't use dex6..... I use this as a break in fluid then I mix a "special sauce" it's a blend of Castrol dex merc and catipaller fluid that tep uses.
I can help with converter questions once I know your goal with the car.
