Default Blinker

I was wondering if anyone has had problems with their blinker. I have a 95 Ls and the blinker has stopped working. I am pretty sure that there is something broken in there but I don't know how to get into the blinker unit without setting off the airbag. Any help is appreciated.

to my knowledge, the column is screwed together. They are two pieces. i believe its like 4 screws that hold the thing together. The only thing u have to worry about with the airbags is not to disconnect any YELLOW CONNECTORS. Those are airbag connectors that will set off the airbags... ill check to make sure, we have a 95 lumina in the lot at skool, so ill check it out to make sure.

I would check all the other lights first before I go ripping out the steering colum. Cause I had a 95 Beretta once and one of the rear marker light had a crack where the bulb plugs in. And every time it rained. Water would get in and blow the fuses to my tail lamps and the blinkers. I would check the obvious stuff first.

LOL....... Could you imagine taking a hit from your airbag trying to work on your steering column...

I've taken apart many older model steering columns before but have never had the chance to work on anything with airbags.

I can't agree more... Unless your like me and have to tear it apart anyway...

I find that when I take things apart just for ****s and giggles that I always end up with spare parts and the item in worse shape than it started. Unless I know what I am working on that is.
