Apparently this problem plagues these cars. It is so annoying and even more annoying to correct! I suggest that the work gets done by a reputable shop since the dashboard needs to come out. Some places do shoddy work and dont put the dash back in correctly.

Default loud clicking sound on pass side

I am having that problem with a loud clicking sound coming from the vents. It even continues when I turn the key off for a few minutes. My problem is that after that started I am now having problems with my car not starting. Completely dead. The battery is registering full charge, but I lose my clock, etc. I try to start car a few times - no go.

Had the car towed to repair shop and car started fine there. This has happened a few times and it seems always after that clicking sound starts.

Any suggestions

Ron

Yeah its definitely the vents. It happened to me when i shut my car off as well. When the car is shut off it lets fresh air into the car so the vents go to a default setting. This prevents people from dying while inside due to lack of oxygen. Like I said its a really crappy problem. As far as your car not starting I have no answer but I am curious to find out if you do. Check your fuses.
