Default AIR BAG HELP/

ok here my problem ..i had cream color seats .and been waing black leather seats.so now i got black leather ................thats no the problem yet lol.......the problem is when i removed the cream color seats.the drivers side had an air bag on it...and the new black leather seat dont have air bag......so because i cant connect the air bag......the air bag light stays on?..any help fiding a way to kill the light on the dash????

You should be able to get the light turned off with a OBDII scan tool.

I don't think that the Scan Tool is going to be able to reset the Airbag light.
I think you are going to have to get the Bodywork Control Module reset for the absence of the airbag.

That circuit have a fault of any kind could render the airbags inoperative.
That would not be a good situation if anything was to happen and you needed them.

I'm sure that the pro's will shed more light on this issue.
But, I doubt the airbag light will reset until everything's OK with the bag circuit.

im sure the drivers side and passenger side will work.........because the seat air bag is unpluged and theres no air bag now the light stays on............i thought maybe there was a fuse or something i could take out for the seat air bag........i looked but no find anything......???

i was told if i cut teh wires and tie them together ill get the lightto go off?.is it true?.......and will it work to have the passenger and drivers side to still work?

help please if anyone knows?
