I don't have that problem, my recirculating air doesn't work, the light comes on but nothing happens, my A/C is on and selector is on vent. I changed the cabin air filter, took out the fuses and still nothing, any ideas would be great short of replacing the valve I've run out of ideas.

This must be a common problem. I've been trying the last few days to fix mines. The driver side is doing the same thing and i've checked the actuater which is working properly and i also took the actuator off and manually moved the blend door to the cold position and it still doesn't get cold while the passenger side will freeze you. My car didn't come with an owners manual is there anyway you can tell me which fuse is the hvac fuse maybe even post a pic so i know which fuse to pull. Thanks alot

Hello Justin,
Can you please help me? I am having the same problem, and would really like to use your relearn method. I just checked my owners manual for my 2006 Monte. Unfortunately, I can't find the "HVAC" fuse. I see a fuses for the various fans in the fuse box under the hood. I just can't locate one with the name "HVAC". Would the fuse you're suggesting be listed as another name?
Thanks,
rcgray48 (Bob)

You may be better starting a new topic.. This ones pretty old and may not be the same issue youre having.. Until someone else can help tho, I might suggest unhooking the battery for the amount of time.. I would assume that would have the same effect..
