Default ac control panel

i just got an 04 intimidator and i noticed that at night the fan speed side doesn't light up like the rest. not sure if it's been like that, or that i did something when i installed my cd player.

also, i noticed that the traction control button and the heated seats buttons get pretty hot to the touch. is that normal? isn't the exhaust in the hump, so maybe that's the reason?

you may have the CD player wired up incorrectly. I had one miswired that gave me all kinds of h3ll with other wired components. is the CD player face getting exceptionally hot also?

all the buttons on the inside of my car get pretty hot after a while, especially the TC button. i always assumed it was normal since it takes some time for them to heat up like that.

A lot of the bulbs on our cars burn out. Most common ones are a couple on the radio, and the air controls

For example I had the D and P sliders for my dual-climate go away on me.

last night the fan side was still out

as vincenti asked, no the cd player's face is not hot at all. and the tc button still felt pretty hot, but the heated seats felt warm.

maybe i'll tear the dash back apart next week and see whats going on

go to bbengineer.com and check out replacing your'e bulbs with led's. last a long time and get the color you want. otherwise do it yourself is heating up solder around your'e bulbs and solder in new bulbs.
