Default AC Compressor Issue

Last year I finally got around to installing a new AC Compressor, Condenser, Evap, Accumulator, Seals, etc to finally have AC on this vehicle. Ran good for about 4 months by then fall and winter came around. Now I notice sometimes the ac compressor kicks on and sometimes it does not. If it does not kick on you need to open the hood and place with the two pin plug that engages the ac clutch. Could not seem to find the plug at PepBoys or online from any parts place I personally deal with. Anyway pulled into Reedman Toll to see about getting the plug directly and they said you can only get the plug if you purchase the entire engine harness for $1500.00. Anyway does anyone know where to get just the plug (except from a junkyard) and has anyone had a similar issue?

Solder the wires and fill around them with silicone. Or something along that line. Not the prettiest thing but should work. You could also check craigs list and find someone parting out a car that'll give you the plug.
