So you can only do a brake flush

Doesnt the abs module have some brake fluid or air running through it? i notice with the car off i can pump the brake a few times and then the pedal will become stiff and i wont hear the abs self check clicking sound at startup. But if i start the car without puttin my foot on the brake i hear the clicking abs self check noise which i started hearing recently in the past 2 years when it never made the sound before.

The pumping the brake with the car off and the pedal stiffening is normal for all ABS and non-ABS cars I've worked on.
The braking system is hydraulic. The ABS system sits inline with the braking system (it's a ABS pump that activates when the ABS system is triggered). The ABS pump again, works in line with the brake system and the ABS system has nothing to flush.
Some cars, the ABS system makes a pronounced sound (somethings clicking) when you turn on the car, other times, it's very quiet.
Bottom line, if you have no ABS light, the ABS system does not appear to be behaving erratically, then not broken, no need to fix it. BUT, flushing your brake fluid (bleeding all the brakes until you have clean/clear fluid coming out) is a good thing. Brake fluid is often neglected. The stuff does wear down, it does get junk in the system (it may collect moisture from natural causes of condensation). So, flushing it once in a rare while is NOT bad to do.
