ABS
After making a sudden stop at light on a decline, my brakes skidded a bit. I thought it may have been due to the rough road. But, I checked my ABS the other night on a straight, flat, smooth road. Going from 55 to 0... not really something to do all the time, but I needed to see if my brakes were locking up. Well, they did fine until about 30mph where my back-end seemed to slide a little, and the tires skidded & locked a little. It wasn't a complete lock-up like non-ABS cars, but I thought ABS completely ruled this out.
Thoughts?
Thoughts?
what year is the car?
as far as ABS and my understanding of the system they should not lock up at all they should come to a stop with a roll to them but should not lock up.
So if you have time on the warrenty you might see about getting it in befor eit runs out those are not a cheap system to have to deal with.
