Default 99 monte carlo z34

Hey, I have a 99' Monte carl z34 with 202,000 miles on it. I love the car, it runs fine, only problem is a carbon build up in the exhaust. I would like to know what I could do to further expand the lifespan of this car and ideas on how to eventually refuribish it.
Thanks.

Montes are pretty good cars overall. You do have quite a bit of miles on that motor, but it should still last for a while. Even if the motor goes out, 3800's are pretty cheap now. Just make sure you keep up your maintenance and beware of the upper intake manifold and lower intake manifold leaks. Seafoaming the car couldn't hurt.
