I have a 96 monte carlo with a 3100... After changing the head gaskets the car started and ran fine the all of asuddenwouldn't start. So I reset the computer by unhooking the battery. The car will start and run perfect but after a day or so it does the same thing. Everytime you hook the battery back up theres like a swooshing air sound and the car will start.. anyone have any suggestions??? All help is appriciated...

 

Maybe you have a vacuum line hooked up wrong, or not hooked up at all.

 

Are there any codes showing up?

 

Would it be possible theres a short in one of the wires? You could check for damage on the wires or fuse box.
