95 Monte ls swap to l67 , wiring obd to read obd II
Hi I am new here and was wondering If anyone has rewired an obd port ... I have a 98 Monte 3.8 harness and zzp l67 swap kit, what else do I have to do to make the obd port functional so I can plug in my aeroceptor n scan KR

As far as I know, the OBD 1.5 plug in the 95's is the same as the OBD 2 plug, you may just need to add some wiring. Sorry I don't have my repair manuals with me, or I'd look up the pinouts for you. It has been done before though.
Wikipedia does have information about the pinouts of each connector though (although you probably won't use all the obd 2 stuff):

For ALDL connections, pin 9 is the data stream, pins 4 and 5 are ground and pin 16 is battery voltage.
SAE J1962 defines the pinout of the connector as:
1. Manufacturer discretion. GM: J2411 GMLAN/SWC/Single-Wire CAN.
2. Bus positive Line of SAE-J1850 PWM and SAE-1850 VPW
3. Ford DCL(+) Argentina, Brazil (pre OBD-II) 1997-2000, Usa, Europe, etc.
4. Chassis ground
5. Signal ground
6. CAN high (ISO 15765-4 and SAE-J2284)
7. K line of ISO 9141-2 and ISO 14230-4

10. Bus negative Line of SAE-J1850 PWM only (not SAE-1850 VPW)

Ok thank u for the info. I hope I can get it to work. I have cold air, plugs, tstat, headers and 3 inch exhaust, zzp PCM, 10.3 mm wires, 3.4 pulley. This pretty much came as a package, The KR should be ok with the package right or wrong? Also is nos a bad idea on these l67 motors ?

Ya it is still pulled ... I was waiting on the headers before I bolted it all in, how hard is it to change the rockers, I'm not a mechanic but as far as I can see switching motors n tranny's isn't all that hard cause I grew up around all this but when it comes to ripping an engine apart I'm clueless, I am changing the valve covers to polished aluminum though so it'll already be open
