2003 monte carlo l67 swap

Default 2003 monte carlo l67 swap

do i need a dryer from a l67 car cuz i have a L67 kit from milzy and have all lines but my dryer wont match up any ideas and tips would help alot i have the engine in already any heads up would help too

WTF is a dryer? i swapped mine in myself, and there isn't a dryer on there.

You mean blower/supercharger? You sure you have the correct supercharger? Did you swap out the lower intake with one from the l67?

for the a/c it a collecter near the radiator mine is a 2003 monte my fittings don match up

Oh the thing under the airbox! Im not sure if they vary between models, maybe a more experienced member would be able to help...
I added a pic (can barely see it) to help people know what your talking about...

Hey do you guys know some of the problems I'm gonna run into I have a 2000 ss and I'm gonna go get my heads tomar so please fill me in and did you ever get you car running...what PCM are you guy using?..please help sorry for the hijack but can't find someone to talk to that's done it

youll need a pcm programed for the swap cuz if you dont youll need the BCM off of the donor car , its kinda tricky i got mine yesterday all i need now is to figure out fuel lines and electrical n im done ill let u know what happens if you need the help bro text 5596798827

i'm running my original 2003 PCM that i retuned, a 2005 Monte L67 with a full engine harness made for a 2004 s/c ss and it works great, not to mention my n/a harness was tattered and needed replacement anyway.


and back on the A/C topic, do you still have the a/c compressor lines that were in the car originally? if you do you could just swap whatever is needed, and you'll be done. I left the a/c compressor sitting on the subframe when i did my swap so i wouldn't have to deal with possible a/c issues.

dam you where one move ahead of me my car won't turn over now i probably need my old pcm retuned dam and its late nothing open, n the a/c lines i trashed should have saved em is there any way i can do a manual case learn to have it turn over or is there any wires i can bypass to make it run?

sorrry to hear that sanchez that suxs but i hope you get it....i ll text you when i get around to mine works been jamming and i cant not use the monte cause gas is killing me in my tank truck
