That's cool, my father-in-law also does web development. He's all by himself at this point though, just a small timer. I keep telling him he should advertise and get out there and let people know he's there.

yeah, I do it on the side for myself too (ePro Web Designs)... and I've tried the whole "do it as your own business" thing, and it's TOUGH. I advertise a little, am in all the search engines, and will get emails or calls once in a while - and some word of mouth from current clients of mine, but you'd never make it big enough to survive on. you'd need a full-time sales person or three to be out there all the time for you, getting the work. If I had the time to do THAT part myself, I wouldn't have time to do the work! LOL

So, after trying to make a go of it on my own for a couple years, I threw in the towel and went to work for a company doing it - I'm on my 7th year here now - that way I don't have to worry about finding the work, I know I'm getting paid, plus you get the medical/dental insurance - that stuff ain't cheap when you have to pay it ALL on your own dime.- LOL.

Yeah, it can be tough out on your own. I for one know that. I sell stuff for people/my own junk that I find on ebay and I've been doing that for the past 2 1/2 years. It has it's ups and downs. I don't have health or dental so I cross my fingers that nothing will ever happen [8D]

I would prefer to have a job like yours, but here in Minot, ND the jobs are few and far between. Doesn't really matter what your degree is because there really isn't anything here to offer.

Getting off this topic for a second, I noticed that your grille has SS in it. That wasn't stock was it? I can't seem to find another one like it. I really like it thought because that's how the old ones were.

no, the SS on the grill isn't stock... there was a gold bowtie on there, just like on the trunk, but I took them all off. I heated it up with a hair dryer, peeled it off, and stuck the SS in it's place. On the trunk, I removed the bowtie and the letters "MONTE CARLO", then I moved the SS up under the 3rd brake light where the bowtie originally was. You can see the changes in my pics...
