Default 2006 Wheel Well Liner thing?

What is that called? That plastic piece in the wheel well that prevents dirt and crap from getting into the car? Mine are cracked, and desperately need to be painted. I'd rather just replacement. Google has failed me.

Are they actually black? Like black black?

Mine are cracked and worn looking. More like a dark grey, and when the light hits them, they really stands out. Black car, grey wheel well, black tire. Looks awful.

Thanks though, I'll look for that Fender Liner!

You could always try a product like Mothers Back to Black, or other Plastic products that bring back Black Coloring.

Like BlackSheep said - knock the major dirt off them, then hit them with the same cleaner and dressing that you use on tires. They'll look great. Of course, if they're cracked and broken, that's another matter.

For aftermarket try Googleing GM1250126 for the driver side and GM1251126 for passenger side. Should be able to find them for around $15. Not as Sturdy as OE (usually) but will fill the hole.

agreed...any tire dressing will make them really black. i use water base dressing so they dont turn brown from dirt/road grime sticking to them tho

I don't see why you can't buy a new set and paint them a gloss black. Might actually look really good.

My rears are cracked in my 07 LS......Going to pull them out someday when it is nice and get it glued and painted black. Simple to do I had them out before. couple thin nuts and some 7or9mm bolts and there out. Gotta take the tire off to do it.
